Both Dr. Webb and Dr. Baumgartner are graduates from Michigan School of Optometry. They are here to serve the Marquette community eye care needs. Each one of their patients are incredibly important to them and it shows by the time and care they give. We allow ample time for each patient, the Doctors go over their findings and you will have the luxury of time to ask any questions you might have. The goal is excellent care, and for you to never feel rushed.

Below we have listed a few pieces of specialty equipment we have to help give you the most complete eye exam we can.

Optomap: The Optomap Produces an image that provides Dr’s Webb and Baumgartner with a high-resolution 200 degree image, to ascertain the health of your retina. This is much wider than a traditional 45 degree image. Many eye problems can develop without you knowing, in fact, you may not even notice any change in your sight…fortunately, diseases or damage such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears or detachments and other health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be seen with a through exam of the retina.

High Definition Photography: This allows the Doctors to Capture digital images of the front and back of the eye. Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma are just a few conditions this technology is used for.

OCT: A laser based system that is essential for diagnosis and monitoring conditions like diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma and numerous other eye diseases.

Visual Field Testing: Tests your peripheral vision and is used primarily for Glaucoma and Neurologic disease.

B Scan Ultrasonography: Sound waves are used to scan the inside of the eye. It can be used even if we cannot see the back of the eye, to look for tumors, Retinal Detachments, Intra Ocular Foreign Bodies and other pathologies.
