After spending many vacations in the Upper Peninsula, Jon decided it was not just a place he wanted to visit, but the place he wanted to live. Moving to Marquette in 2005, the door to Downtown EyeCare opened on August 1st. The goal was (and is) to have an office that has state of the art equipment and yet maintains a friendly warm atmosphere. Jon graduated optometry school from Ferris State in 1987.
Dr. Luplow joined our practice in the summer of 2019. He has practiced optometry for over 30 years and had a well-established practice in Baraga, serving the populations of Baraga, Houghton, and Ontonagon counties. Prior to coming to Downtown EyeCare, he was a faculty member at the Michigan College of Optometry for 8 years. Dr. Luplow is a great source of knowledge and loves to educate his patients regarding their prescription needs and the health of their eyes. Dr. Luplow and his wife, Debbie, reside in Marquette.
